The finance team was undergoing a structural transformation. New roles and skill sets were required to be brought in to establish a redesigned finance structure with new reporting processes.

The successful candidate came from another charity and was a female leader and a confident Financial Controller with a positive attitude and a flexible approach. She has hit the ground running, relieving War Child of the Financial Control and team management. She has improved Finance efficiencies and internal and external relationships associated with Finance.
